Effective In-House Learning and Development Solutions
Our ASIST, USI and bespoke in-house training courses are custom made to meet the needs of your organisation and are delivered at venues and dates that suit you. Our courses can be tailored and adapted further to meet the needs of other service user groups.
We will help you to design courses or a programme of learning to meet the needs of your organisation. Once you have identified what training is required, a specialist trainer will be appointed to work collaboratively with you to provide a learning package based around particular case-studies, policies and procedures of your organisation.
If you are interested in a course that is not listed here, please call us to discuss your requirements. We will try, where ever possible, to meet your requirements and are experienced in developing and adapting bespoke packages within our areas of expertise.
Cost effective and income generating
Generally, in-house ASIST courses include a maximum of 30 participants, although where resources permit, larger numbers can be accommodated up to 60 participants, with 4 trainers, at the same workshop. The relatively large numbers make it the most cost effective way to deliver training to groups. However, if you don’t have enough participants to fill a course – don’t worry, please call our friendly team to discuss the various options. You are often able to share costs with other organisations – an increasingly popular option as the current period of austerity measures continues or you may wish to consider our smaller, one-day USI course – details below.
Our in-house USI courses include a maximum of 16 participants (no minimum). This smaller setting allows a personal self-reflection on those having thoughts of suicide and consideration of the personal impact when working with suicide and people at risk. No previous training or experience is necessary.
